A Poem for Day Two of National Poetry Writing Month

My 2nd Poem for National Poetry Writing Month

Early Morning

Half moon met me
in the morning
in a cloudless
tinged blue sky,

birds sang hello
beckoning my eyes
up into a
warm sun drenched canopy

billowing ginkgo buds
anticipating there
majestic opening
gently swayed

a pair of  falcons
as they passed on
their way…
