For Day 18 of National Poetry Writing Month my thoughts and heartfelt wishes go out to the city of Boston, family, friends and all that were at the Monday Marathon.

my heart sighs Boston
soar forever fleet-footed
precious earthly souls

  1. You captured so succinctly how my heart sighs for the city of my birth, my parents, a hometown now so wounded, so precious we must hold it close and know it will recover soon.
