Safe Haven

I have a garden
in my house
I even have a babbling brook
and wrap myself
around my safe haven,
shutting my door
I’m protected
especially on
early morning trips
when  I expect
the outside
to invite me
inside
my door
shuts out the din.

My haven has many portals
that invite the outside
in through a veil,
and when I’m ready
I can take my garden
outside with me
and push the
din
away.
