Earth Day Poem: Waiting and quick sketch for NaPoWriMo day 22, 2014

Waiting-Napowrimo-day-22-2014-©-m-kogan-copyWaiting
waiting for weather to warm
waiting for last years blooms
to begin to bud
waiting for a quiet space
within
waiting to weed out
what’s not needed
and follow what is
waiting for an
easy breath
a big sigh
waiting with the
crickets
hearing the
stillness
and still waiting…
