sweet summer sparrow

my eyes raised up
inviting the sky
opening my thoughts
uplifting my spirits
breathing a sigh
a wiggling tail
rapid flapping wings
crystal contours of flora
and flowered colors
waiting to speak
sweet chwee sparrow
ever present
filling the background and
uplifting me…
