Nene Hawaiian Endangered Goose, (above) is one of five watercolor paintings I have exhibited at Congregation Solel, 1301 Clavey Rd, Highland Park, IL. The exhibit runs through October 30th, 2014.

Michelle Kogan is an artist, illustrator, instructor, and writer, creating colorful allegorical figure, flora and fauna paintings and children's illustrations, which have a sensitivity to endangered species, and the environment. She is an art instructor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Evanston Art Center and offers Plein Air Painting Workshops at nature venues in the Chicago area including the Lincoln Park Conservatory, Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, and Lurie Gardens at Millennium Park. Are there hours that the paintings are available for viewing?

Hi Rhonda, Yes the exhibit is open to the public during their regular hours Mon.– Thurs. 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Friday afternoon hours are shorter, here’s there website if you want to call and check before going http://www.solel.org Thanks!
