Nasturtium’s… Quick Pen Sketch and Fall Poem

1,000 Days of Fall…

I wish I could have
1,000 days of fall…
a sweater’s gentle breeze
soft cicada’s humming
nasturtium leaves waving
asters almost open
coreopsis in white
suzies blooms hanging on
clematis still budding
gentle geraniums…
But I can not have
1,ooo days of fall,
But I can carry
fall for 1,000 days…
