Earnest earthworm wiggled out on Earth Day,
All his relations whispered hip hooray!
Rain barely hampered any
Though thunder scared many,
He sang to all “We are special today!”

Digging up and sideways they climbed to top,
All were relentless and swore they’d not stop,
You’d be surprised to see
All the activity…
Happy Earth Day songs came reaching atop!
