Thanks Giving 2017–Poem & Sketch

November-flowers-m-k0gan-11-23-2017

I’m thankful for
morning’s light filling my windows
bird’s songs especially winter’s
trees speaking throughout the seasons
city critters view of their world
friendships forever new and old
home–holding love and family
writing stories and poetry
creating art that inspires all
books and words, windows to all worlds
meditation and centering
beauty–nature’s and the mundane
air, water, earth and atmosphere
breath of day and calm of evening
taking time for thankfulness thoughts.

Wishing all a Happy Thanks Giving!
