Happy Poetry Friday!
I’m joining the #ChicagoYouthClimateStrike, tomorrow, Friday 9-20-2019. Here’s my poster that has a poem I wrote for the march and rally.

Make some noise for our climate tomorrow she belongs to all of us!
Linda Baie at her blog Teacher Dance is hosting this weeks Poetry Friday Roundup. Thanks for hosting Linda! She has a special post this week as she is reviewing a new book that will be out in February 2020. It sounds and looks Fantastic! It’s by Irene Latham and Charles Waters, and it’s illustrated by Mehrdokht Amini, and called Dictionary For A Better World Poems, Quotes, and Anecdotes from A to Z.

Wonderful poster, Michelle. Along with all those needs is a good poem, too, that you have provided. Now to hope for all those other things! I watched Al Gore being interviewed this evening and he was hopeful, if we start now! All is not lost, if we start making changes. Thank you for marching!
Thanks Linda! I would’ve liked to hear Al Gore speak, but perhaps the news will recap some, and I’m glad he’s hopeful.
good good good! So beautiful, Michelle. Thank you. xo
Wonderful poster/poem, Michelle! Thanks for all you do to support climate change.
Your poster is a work of art! Hope you have a wonderful day! Ruth, threisnosuchthingasagodforsakentown.blogspot.com
That pretty much says it all, Michelle! Thank you for making a difference.
love love love!
THANK YOU, Michelle, for bringing your voice and art to the strike on Friday! This is gorgeous and the poem is fun to say!
I really like what you wrote for PF, Michelle. The poem and drawing are wonderful. Did you send it to Greta Thornberg on Twitter. I just tweeted out today about the NYC Climate Strike. The students were excused from classes to participate. That is a step in the right direction.
Your poster and poem express overwhelming emotion. Who could turn away?
LOVE your poem and poster! Thanks for marching for those of us who could only be there in spirit!
