The artwork is from four classes that I teach at the Evanston Art Center–Figures and Nature: Drawing/Painting; Watercolor: Materials, Composition & Technique; Children’s Picture Book Illustration; and Pen & Ink & Dr. Martin Watercolor. Michelle! You’ve been busy. Oh, my goodness…what beautiful, beautiful pieces of art. You must be so proud. I have a special love for the illustrations. They are darling! So much fine detail and love go into spreads for a book. I love the smile on the face of the student next to her painting of a child cuddled up on top of an animal and the moon hanging…next to a ladder. Will you get any rest before your next class(es?). I hope so. And, take a bow, lady! You deserve one. Bravo!

My regret, that I cannot take a class from you, Michelle. What a pleasure it would be. I’m sure I’m not as talented as these artists you’ve shared, but would love the learning. How proud you must be of all of this art. I loved especially the picture book illustrations! Congratulations for all the accomplishment.

Oh my, oh my! This is indeed a feast! Huge congratulations to you for teaching such rewarding classes. I want some of those pieces myself, and I’d love to give the elephant’s plinkety plunk to my mother-in-law. And thanks for sharing… loved it.
