#NaPoWriMo 2020 Day 1 -Feathered Friends

Happy National Poetry Writing Month #NaPoWriMo! Here’s a poem to lift your spirits, inspired by my early morning feathered friends! #Birds #Climateendangered #Poem
MORNING WAKEUP CALL

Cock a doodle doo rang out rooster’s rollicking call,

Cherup, cherup, cherup, sang out sweet robin to her mate,

Tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweeted tender sparrow…

We’ll keep you company while you’re stuck inside,

We’ll sing our song to cheer you on all day long,

We’ll take you on a feathery guide and fill your spirits with pride,

We’ll even let you sing along, as long as you don’t sing to strong.
