
Today I was watercolor sketching seagulls at Venice Beach, CA. They had quite a variety of seagulls there, very different from the ones I see on Chicago beaches. In addition we had flocks of pelicans flying over head and great waves washing up in the background…
I started this sketch on a round piece of Japanese watercolor paper, that I got when I was at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, when it’s finished I’ll post it again.
